Black Belt Training Program

The Black Belt training program is comprised of a beginning, intermediate and advanced level.

Beginning students will learn the basics of Dojo etiquette as well as the basics of hand to hand fighting. While beginning students will be exposed a large amount of content, most of this content is geared towards preparation for the intermediate level. Because the nature of our program requires a sound understanding of combat both standing and on the ground, beginning students will be exposed to a variety of Martial styles and disciplines to achieve our goal of creating a balanced well rounded martial artist. Students in the beginning level will also learn the basics of fighting with both a staff and sticks as well as starting beginning CQB training. (White, Yellow, Orange)

Intermediate Students will continue to learn and master elements associated with the beginning level and will also delve into the intermediate level of hand to hand fighting. Intermediate students will also learn intermediate CQB techniques as well as begin joint lock and body manipulation training. At this level, students will also begin Internal Martial arts study and the basics of flexible weapon fighting techniques. (Green, Blue, Purple)

Advanced students will continue to learn and master all elements associated with the beginning and intermediate level. Advanced students will complete the first level of Internal Martial Arts Study and upon completion begin applications for Internal Martial Arts. Advanced students will also begin edged weapon training. (Brown, Red, Black)
